Our History
In 1928, Abel J. LeBlanc, founder of LeBlanc
Heating, worked in the heating field in Medford, MA. At this
time, he represented the Holland Furnace Company. During
November, 1938, he moved to New Hampshire and operated his
business out of a Manchester location. In 1940, Abel constructed
a new building in Bedford, NH for his residence and business
location. This building is our present location today.
In 1946, LeBlanc Heating became an
Independent Lennox dealer. We sold only Lennox equipment at this
time. During this same year, Armand LeBlanc, Abel's oldest son,
entered the business. Soon after, Abel's two other sons, Ernest
LeBlanc & Roland LeBlanc, began working for the business.
In 1969, Abel retired and passed the business
on to the three brothers.
In 1984, Armand's daughter, Joy, representing
the third generation, started working for the business and is
presently President of the company.
Through out the generations, the business has
changed. At the beginning, work was only performed during the
summer months. Later it progressed to operating year-round and
now, round the clock. |
